Here are 5 more tips to help you reduce stress


1) Learn to say NO

Saying no simply releases you of any obligation to others. Not only that, but saying no also limits you from taking on more than you can handle AND did I mention that it's FREEING!


2) Keep a positive attitude

The mind is perhaps the most powerful thing ever created. Not to be extra spiritual or anything, but there's a scripture in the bible that says "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he". Stress is real but our mind is so much more powerful than anything stress can make us think or feel. I often say "change your mind, change your life."


3) Get Quiet

Take a few minutes every day to sit quietly and reflect. Try relaxation practices like mindfulness, yoga or deep breathing


4) Avoid procrastinating

Procrastination brings me so much anxiety and its a big no for me dog! When you procrastinate, you are more likely to be reactive versus proactive and when we are reactive we end up scrambling around like a chicken without a head!


5) Re-assess your to-do list

I am an AVID to-do list creator because it helps keep me organized and remember all of the things I need to get done. However, sometimes it's just not enough time to get it all done! In those instances re-assess and prioritize what's most important.
